Air Spray 1967 Ltd. is a Canadian aerial firefighting company with decades of experience protecting communities, forests, and critical infrastructure from wildfire.

Working in aerial fire suppression means being part of a highly skilled team where safety, precision, and reliability are essential. Our crews operate specialized aircraft in demanding environments, providing critical wildfire suppression support when it matters most.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M1 and/or M2 to join our dynamic aviation maintenance team. In this vital role, you will help ensure the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of our aircraft through comprehensive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of aircraft systems in a unique aviation environment where every day brings a new challenge—and your work makes a real difference.

It’s the best of both worlds.

Spend part of the fire season in the field supporting aircraft on active wildfire operations, then benefit from a Monday-to-Friday day shift in a large, modern and well equipped hangar during the remainder of the year.

What We Offer

- The chance to make a difference in your own backyard, across British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon
- Reliable, year-round aviation work that isn't subject to the seasonal swings of tourism

- Banked time that you can use for well-deserved time off or additional cash
- Health and pension programs
- The opportunity to work in a specialized and rewarding aviation environment

Duties

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and manufacturer specifications

- Support aircraft in both hangar and field environments during fire season
- Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work area
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational readiness

Requirements

- Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M1 and/or M2 licence

- Aircraft type endorsements and/or relevant aircraft-specific experience considered a strong asset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to support field operations during fire season
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada as a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid Canadian work permit
