Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team! Responsibilities

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and document findings accurately in the patient’s dental records.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to improve their overall dental health.
- Assist with dental procedures by preparing patients and passing instruments, ensuring smooth workflow during treatments.
- Manage patient appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.




- Support the dental team by maintaining sterilization protocols, managing supplies, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing bilingual support when needed to enhance understanding and comfort.

Qualifications

- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current credentials.
- Proven experience working in a dental office setting, preferably with pediatric and orthodontic patients.
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse patient populations.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader community effectively.
- Prior experience in dental assisting or working with orthodontics is a plus but not required.
