Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Gas Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting gas systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient operation of gas appliances and infrastructure, contributing to the safety and satisfaction of our clients.

Duties

- Install, service, and repair gas piping systems, appliances, and related equipment in accordance with local codes and safety standards
- Conduct routine inspections of gas systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation and repair tasks
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, rigging equipment, and welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding to complete projects efficiently
- Perform HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) maintenance tasks related to gas-powered systems when required
- Collaborate with construction teams on projects involving plumbing, mechanical systems, or manufacturing processes that include gas components




- Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and parts used for compliance and reporting purposes

Requirements

- Valid license as a Gas Technician or equivalent certification recognized by local authorities
- Proven experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, plumbing, HVAC systems, and mechanical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams related to gas systems
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, rigging procedures, and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Experience working in manufacturing or construction environments involving gas infrastructure is preferred
- Ability to read schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex installations or repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively
