Job Title: Licensed Industrial Electrician (309A or 442A)

Location: Sterling Rd. Toronto, ON

Hourly Rate: $44.10/hr

Employment Type: Full time – Permanent.

Responsibilities

- Proactively execute the needs of a 24/7 operation while being able to respond to changing demands with short notice.
- Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of High-Speed, PLC Controlled Processes and Packaging Equipment.
- Use and maintenance of Programmable Logic Controllers, instrumentation, and PC to observe and repair machine function.
- Maintenance of electrical Plant Utilities such as lighting and emergency lighting/generators.
- Calibration of Process Control Instruments and Controllers.
- Timely completion of Preventive Maintenance Routines and Work Orders.
- Assist in project work, equipment modifications and new installations as required.
- Ensure the EET Shop is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Practice secure working methods as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Internal Management Policies to protect personnel and equipment.




- Ensure instrumentation equipment in the shop and personal tools are operational and safe to use. Any defective equipment is to be returned for repair or replaced.
- Other assigned duties as per business requirements.
- Follow all GMP Rules & Regulations and Quality Checks
- Work according to ISO 14001 Environment and OHSAS 18001 Safety requirements

Qualifications:
- A Licensed Electrician with an Ontario Journeyman's Electrical License (309A or 442A) and a good working knowledge of PLCs & electronics.
- Membership or eligibility for the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists is required
- Knowledge and/or Working experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), especially with Preventive Maintenance Pillar methodology is preferred.
- Robust computer skills, with working knowledge of factory systems and SAP is highly desired.
