The Role We are looking for a fully licensed plumber with residential service experience who is confident working independently and enjoys interacting with customers.
Duties
- Diagnose, install, service and repair residential plumbing systems
- Perform plumbing service calls independently
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and identify the root cause
- Install and repair fixtures, piping, water heaters, sump pumps and other plumbing systems
- Perform drain cleaning and related repairs
- Measure, cut, thread and fit pipe accurately
- Read and interpret plumbing plans when required
- Communicate plumbing issues and recommended solutions clearly to customers
- Provide estimates and obtain customer approval before additional work
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment
- Complete service documentation and communicate follow-up requirements
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 306A Plumbing Licence
- Residential service plumbing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, professional and committed to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's licence
Assets:
- G2 Gas Fitting Licence
- Commercial plumbing experience
- Drain cleaning/camera experience
- Sales or customer-service experience
- Experience with field-service software
