Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Morning Daily Dispense Support (8 AM–10:30 AM)

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Hours: 2.5 hours, 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our daily‑dispense senior patients each Sunday morning. This is a stress‑free, predictable 3‑hour morning role ideal for an LPN who enjoys calm routines and patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities

- Provide morning support for seniors receiving daily‑dispensed medications
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Perform injections (B12, long‑acting antipsychotics, diabetes meds, vaccines, etc.)
- Complete basic wellness checks (vitals, symptoms, safety observations)
- Document care clearly and promptly
- Communicate concerns to the pharmacist or care team
- Maintain a respectful, supportive approach with all patients

Requirements

- Current LPN registration with BCCNM (in good standing)




- Injection‑certified
- Minimum 1 year of experience with seniors, community care, or medication administration
- Robust understanding of medication safety
- Able to work independently
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening

Preferred Experience

- Community nursing or home‑care background
- Experience with chronic disease management
- Comfort supporting patients with cognitive challenges
