Duties

- Carefully sort and inspect live lobsters, ensuring only healthy, high-quality crustaceans are selected for packing
- Operate packaging machinery and manual tools to securely pack lobsters in appropriate containers
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols throughout the processing area
- Monitor and document product quality, freshness, and packaging consistency throughout shifts
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and tools regularly to meet industry hygiene standards




- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining safety procedures

Experience

- Prior experience in food processing, manufacturing, or seafood packing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures in a commercial environment
- Familiarity with packaging techniques and equipment used in food industry settings
- Basic mechanical knowledge useful for troubleshooting packaging machinery or equipment issues
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and quality standards
