Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our lteam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service, ensuring that freight is delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

- Operate trucks to transport loads to local mills
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to commercial driving.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving records




- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus to assist with minor vehicle maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights or weekends if required.

Job Type: Full time Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
