The company has grown over the years and now logs approximately 500,000 m3 annually for our main customers Dunkley, Hampton and Sinclar. Summary A Log Loader Operator is responsible for operating a butt'n'top or excavator to load logging trucks in our forestry operations. This role requires precision, time management, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work under pressure in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. Our office and shop are located in Fort St. James and our worksites vary from Fort St. James, Mackenzie, and Prince George. This position may require the employee to stay in a camp/hotel.

Responsibilities

- Operate butt'n'top or excavator to load logging trucks efficiently and safely.
- Utilize tools for various tasks related to logging operations.
- Perform daily maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain safety standards.




- Utilize technology for mapping and planning logging activities.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years experience loading logging trucks
- Safety consciousness
- Class 5 drivers license
- Efficient Production
- A good work ethic
- Willing to stay in a company provided hotel/camp
- Respectful communication with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic workplace.
