Ubleis Logging is a third‑generation, family‑owned and operated company established in 1954. Over the years, the company has grown to harvest approximately 500,000 m³ annually for our primary customers—Dunkley, Hampton, and Sinclar.

We are currently seeking an experienced Logging Supervisor to provide additional support as we expand our operations. This role involves overseeing daily logging activities, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting crew productivity in the field. Our operations are located in and around Fort St. James, Mackenzie, and Prince George, BC.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day‑to‑day logging operations, including falling, road building, loading, and hauling
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations, BC Forest Safety Council standards, company safety policies, safe work procedures, and environmental requirements
- Coordinate with subcontractors, equipment operators, truck drivers, and management
- Conduct safety meetings, site inspections, worker assessments, and hazard assessments
- Monitor production targets and address operational issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate daily reports, production records, and safety documentation
- Support crew leadership, training,



and conflict resolution

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 2 years of logging supervisor experience, or other relevant supervisory experience
- Proven, long‑term experience in the logging industry is essential
- Robust understanding of Northern BC logging conditions and practices
- Solid knowledge of WorkSafeBC safety requirements and forestry regulations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work outdoors in remote locations and varying weather conditions
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- First Aid certification and supervisory safety training are considered assets
