Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full time, on-site role based in Etobicoke, ON. This position is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, communicating with carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. The role involves tracking shipments, updating internal systems, maintaining documentation, and resolving transportation or customs-related issues.
The Logistics
Coordinator will work closely with customers to provide status updates, respond to inquiries,
and support service quality. Daily tasks also include monitoring inventory levels, supporting supply chain planning, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize routes, costs, and transit times.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, monitor KPIs, and support problem-solving.
- Effective Communication abilities for coordinating with carriers, customs authorities, internal teams, and customers.
- Customer Service skills to manage client expectations, handle inquiries, and maintain positive relationships.
- Experience with Inventory Management processes to track stock, manage orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Understanding of Supply Chain Management principles to support planning, routing, and process optimization.
- Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehousing is preferred.
- Proficiency with logistics software, transportation management systems (TMS), and MS Office tools.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work on-site in Etobicoke, ON, and collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
- Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an asset.
