Overview

At SUNRISE KITCHENS, our people are our greatest assets. We require an individual to join our team as a Logistics Crew. In this job, you will be rotated between the shipping and delivery teams. The job requires loading & unloading cabinets and helping with the required tasks in the Logistics Department.

Responsibilities

1.0 Shipping

- Offload cabinets from wrapping machine
- Follow proper loading documentation procedure
- Load trucks with cabinets efficiently while avoiding any damages to the product
- Load all equipment/tools needed for delivery
- Ensure all product and equipment are secure in the truck

2.0 Delivery

- Assist in making local deliveries and/or drive the company passenger vehicle to the job site (if necessary)
- Unload the trucks at the job site and store product in the designated units in an organized manner, while avoiding damages to the product or property
- Confirm all units have received all required product and proper documentation back to Sunrise




- Report any damages on site to the Supervisor or Team Lead from Sunrise
- Responsible to manage other site tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager and return delivery equipment (dollies, etc.)
- Professional attitude required at the job site, including customer homes or construction sites
- Adhere to all site safety policies and protocols (safety orientations, PPE, etc.)

Requirements

- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- High school and/or post-secondary school education
- Can legally work in Canada
- Proficient in English, written and verbal

Job Type: Full time Pay: $18.25-$18.75 per hour
