Arcfield Canada is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Manager to lead our Calgary warehouse and logistics operations in support of our aerospace and defence programs.

Reporting into our Supply Chain organization, this role is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials through our Calgary facility, with oversight of warehousing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, transportation, and material handling activities. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows warehouse and logistics operations, enjoys developing people, and can balance day-to-day operational priorities with the high standards of accuracy, compliance, and accountability required in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Calgary warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and material movement.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics employees, establishing clear expectations and accountability.
- Plan and coordinate resources and priorities to support program schedules, customer requirements, and operational commitments.
- Maintain effective inventory controls to ensure accuracy, traceability, and accountability of materials.
- Oversee inventory counts, reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and inventory adjustments.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, carrier requirements, priority deliveries, and other transportation activities.
- Ensure appropriate controls are maintained for high-value, sensitive, controlled, and specialized materials.
- Work closely with Program Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and other teams to resolve material and logistics issues and support program delivery.
- Ensure warehouse and logistics activities comply with company procedures, contractual requirements, security requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
- Support compliance with Controlled Goods, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and other applicable material-handling requirements.
- Monitor warehouse and logistics performance and identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, workflow, material handling, shipping performance, and overall efficiency.
- Develop and maintain warehouse procedures, processes, and work instructions.
- Support internal,



customer, and external audits and coordinate corrective actions as required.
- Promote a safe, organized, collaborative, and continuous-improvement-focused work environment.
- Provide leadership and program stakeholders with updates on logistics performance, operational risks, resource requirements, and priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in warehousing, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Previous experience leading warehouse, logistics, or inventory personnel.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and material handling processes.
- Experience working with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems such as DRMIS, SAP, or comparable systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing operational priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to inventory accuracy, safety, and operational compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required Government of Canada security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience supporting Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), aerospace, or defence logistics operations.

A Supply Chain Management or logistics-related professional designation or certification
- Experience with DRMIS or other military supply and inventory management systems.




- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management requirements.
- Knowledge of Controlled Goods and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) requirements.
- Experience managing high-value, controlled, or aerospace materials.
- Experience supporting internal, customer, or regulatory audits.
