Canak Industries is a machine shop located in Edmonton who is looking for a helper within the shop.

We are looking for the an individual who can work independently but also in a team, is driven and punctual. The successful candidate should be able to work in fast paced environment and be able to mult-task.

The job duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:

- Maintaining general cleanliness of the shop (includes but not limited to keeping machines maintained, mowing the lawn, sweeping, numerous small tasks)
- Assisting in preparation of shipments and receiving of materials
- Operating forklift
- Operating metal cutting saw and marking and moving materials accordingly

Forklift experience is an asset. There is opportunity to advance in the machining trade.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
