- Able to use all equipment and machinery
- Understand and read schematics and drawings, related to the trade requirements
- Troubleshoot, rebuild, repair and improve all active and new machinery and equipment without supervision
- Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required for maintenance and setup of machines
- Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modification and installations
- Committed to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment and processes, via preventative and predictive maintenance on production and production supporting equipment
- Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety and company policies
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
- Possess Certificate of Qualification from a recognized secondary education program as Millwright
- Experience with industrial automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Solid trouble shooting skills with a commitment to deadlines and the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cooperative environment
- Shift flexibility is a requirement
- Ability to work overtime, when required
