The Penticton Art Gallery (PAG) is located on the unceded, traditional territory of the syilx (Okanagan) Peoples, who have stewarded these lands since time immemorial. The Penticton Art Gallery is seeking a highly creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team!

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life, engaging with Members and partners, and telling that stories that foster connection. You’ll play a leading role in helping strengthen our organization’s brand, communication strategies, and community presence.

Key Responsibilities

- Build strong connections with PAG Members, donors, and the broader community by keeping audiences informed, engaged, and up to date.
- Coordinate marketing and communications initiatives, campaigns, and events
- Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, websites, and other channels




- Develop and maintain promotional materials and ensure consistent branding and messaging
- Support website updates, digital marketing, and audience engagement
- Coordinate projects, timelines, and deliverables with internal teams and external partners
- Monitor communications channels and identify opportunities to strengthen engagement
- Support community outreach and promotional activities
- Contribute to other marketing and communications projects as needed

Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a flair for producing persuasive and engaging content
- Experience designing and distributing newsletters and e-blasts
- Strong visual communication and design skills, with proficiency in Canva and experience creating professional, on-brand materials for print and digital communications. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and deadline-wrangling abilities
- Comfortable working across social media and digital communications platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive, collaborative, and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
- Previous experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field is an asset

Compensation & Perks

- $52,000 annually
- Three (3) weeks of paid vacation annually plus Christmas week closure
