Your Mission
Hydrostor is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of our owned and paid marketing programs. Reporting to the Senior Director, External Affairs, this role will shape and amplify Hydrostor's story across all company-controlled channels and paid activations, ensuring our brand, projects, and thought leadership resonate with key audiences worldwide.
As the steward of Hydrostor's marketing presence, you'll oversee website content, newsletters, social media, blogs, paid advertising, promotional materials, and event marketing initiatives. Working closely with commercial and project teams, you'll develop targeted campaigns that strengthen brand awareness, support commercial objectives, and position Hydrostor as a leader in long duration energy storage.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures
- Develop and execute Hydrostor's integrated marketing strategy across owned and paid channels.
- Lead content planning, creation, and management for the corporate website, newsletters, blog, social media channels, and other digital platforms.
- Own Hydrostor's brand narrative and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials.
- Create and manage compelling content that showcases Hydrostor's technology, projects, thought leadership, and industry expertise.
- Develop paid media and promotional campaigns to support brand awareness, corporate priorities, and business development objectives.
- Partner with Business Development teams to create audience-specific marketing materials and campaigns that support market growth and project development efforts in specific geographies.
- Oversee social media strategy,
content calendars, performance tracking, and community engagement.
- Manage the company's blog and editorial calendar, identifying opportunities to elevate Hydrostor's voice within the energy industry.
- Coordinate the development of marketing collateral, presentations, videos, advertisements, and digital assets.
- Plan and support major industry conferences, trade shows, corporate events, and client-facing engagements.
- Measure campaign effectiveness, analyze performance metrics, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Mentor a small marketing team and external vendors to deliver high-quality, impactful campaigns.
- Ensure all marketing activities align with corporate goals and stakeholder expectations.
Who You Are You're a strategic marketer and natural storyteller who knows how to translate complex technical concepts into engaging and impactful content. You have experience developing integrated campaigns, managing digital channels, and building brand awareness in industries where accuracy, credibility, and stakeholder trust are critical.
You enjoy collaborating across functions, balancing long-term brand-building initiatives with practical business objectives. Whether you're developing a content strategy, launching a paid campaign, or leading an industry event, you're focused on delivering measurable results while helping tell a compelling story.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or brand management.
- Strong writing, editing, and copywriting skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences. Ability to translate complex technical and commercial information into compelling, audience-focused content.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, environmental services, industrial technology, or similar sectors is strongly preferred.
- Agency experience supporting clients in regulated industries is considered a robust asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Experience developing and managing integrated marketing strategies across owned and paid advertising channels.
- Demonstrated success leading content development for websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms, as well as for paid B2B and B2C digital campaigns.
- Experience planning and executing corporate events, industry conferences, and client-facing engagements.
- Experience managing or leading a small team and coordinating the work of external agencies and vendors.
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics, campaign performance measurement, and optimization.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for storytelling, brand building, and advancing innovative clean energy solutions.
Compensation Details
- $110,000-$150,000 base salary
