MATCHA MATCHA is an innovative, lifestyle-forward cafe specializing in matcha products, curated and received from local farms in Japan. Our matcha is inviting to matcha enthusiasts and beginners; from thoughtfully crafted drinks to a welcoming stop in the morning, our goal is to offer the space that builds into the everyday rituals.

The flagship location serves as a modern cafe during the day, offering a variety of drinks, baked goods, and retail items. At night, the same space transitions into a cocktail bar, presenting innovative menus with Asian-inspired flavours.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and open member to join our team at the flagship location. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and love matcha, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

- Greet customers, answer questions, and make personalized recommendations based on product knowledge
- Learn and confidently explain our menu, ingredients, products, and flavour profiles
- Create drinks by following recipes and package bakery items for customers
- Monitor inventory and stocks necessary to operate service, and communicate when items need to be replenished
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the store, equipment, and service areas
- Follow public health standards and protocols of food safety and sanitation




- Complete routinely scheduled tasks and maintenance for store upkeep
- Operate drink service, floor, and POS flexibly
- Work collaboratively with the team to perform proper opening and closing duties
- Handle customer feedback, questions, and issues professionally and respectfully
- Support the team through busy periods and rushes to ensure smooth service
- Help maintain visual and service standards

Who you are

- Friendly, positive, and outgoing
- Takes initiative to identify tasks and execute them independently
- Team-oriented
- Able to work under pressure and in quick-paced environments
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous cafe, restaurant, or customer-service experience an asset but not required
- Food handler’s certificate
- Able to work standing for extended period of time
- Able to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 25kg
