Lenmak Exterior Innovations Inc. is hiring an experienced, mechanically inclined Material Handlers to join our manufacturing fabrication team.
You will begin by learning Lenmak's materials, products, quality standards and production flow. As you demonstrate safe work habits, measurement accuracy and equipment aptitude, the role is intended to develop toward CNC machine operation. CNC experience is valued, but it is not required to start.
Because this position carries responsibility for materials, equipment and future machine training, we are looking for someone who already has hands on experience in manufacturing, warehousing, shipping and receiving, production or machine operation.

What You'll Do from Day One
- Receive, identify, move and store sheet metal, coils, finished products and other materials.
- Supply production equipment and work areas with the correct materials and components.
- Use forklifts and approved lifting equipment to load, unload, stage and transfer materials safely.
- Assist with production, assembly, packaging and shipment of metal brake shapes and other finished products.
- Complete basic quality checks, verify quantities and measurements, and report damage or discrepancies.
- Record material movements and production information using Lenmak's scanning systems.
- Monitor the production process and communicate material needs or equipment concerns to the team.
- Keep warehouse,
production and equipment areas clean, organized and ready for safe work.
Your CNC Development Path Once you have a solid understanding of our material flow, products and safety procedures, training may expand into CNC equipment. Progression is competency based, with training and support at each stage.
- Read work orders, cut lists, shop drawings and basic fabrication specifications.
- Confirm material type, thickness, dimensions and approved machine programs before production.
- Learn safe machine start-up, shutdown, material loading and unloading procedures.
- Set up and operate assigned CNC equipment under supervision, then independently once qualified.
- Monitor machine performance and completed parts for accuracy, finish and consistency.
- Use tape measures and other measuring tools to verify finished dimensions.
- Document production results and report quality, tooling or equipment concerns promptly.
- Complete routine equipment inspections, cleaning and basic operator maintenance.
What You Bring
- Experience: Two or more years in manufacturing, warehousing, material handling, shipping and receiving, production or machine operation.
- Material handling: Practical forklift and lifting equipment experience; current certification is an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude: Comfort learning how equipment works and following operating procedures.
- Measurements: Ability to read a tape measure, work with fractions and decimals, and complete intermediate shop math.
- Computer skills: Confidence entering information and working with production, inventory or similar systems.
- Communication: Ability to understand advanced English language work orders, equipment instructions and safety procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability: Ability to work the regular Monday to Friday day shift consistently.
Experience That Would Be an Asset
- CNC machine operation, setup or production support.
- Sheet metal fabrication, shears, brakes, roll forming or automated cutting equipment.
- Reading shop drawings, cut lists or fabrication specifications.
- Quality inspection using calipers, gauges or other precision measuring tools.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and work on your feet for extended periods, including periods of approximately four hours.
- Bend, reach, carry and complete repetitive material handling and production tasks.
- Work safely around machinery, forklifts and moving materials in a manufacturing environment.
- Use required personal protective equipment. Lenmak provides or specifies the PPE needed for the work.
