Material Handler – Afternoon Shift

We are looking for a self-motivated and safety-focused Material Handler to join our Afternoon Shift team. This role supports production by safely moving, loading, unloading, storing,



and retrieving materials while ensuring products and documentation are handled accurately. Forklift experience is required, and training will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

This position works Monday to Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight and includes a $2.00 per hour afternoon shift premium.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to move products and materials throughout the warehouse, shipping/receiving area, and production areas.
- Load and unload transfer order materials, inbound freight, and outbound freight while following safe handling and load securement practices.
- Support the effective storage, retrieval, and movement of production materials to keep workflow running smoothly.
- Complete and verify shipping and receiving documentation with careful attention to detail before materials are moved or released.
- Monitor, maintain, and operate equipment safely and responsibly, leading by example in Vidir’s Risk Management System and Continuous Improvement Programs.
- Work independently while maintaining positive working relationships with team members, team leaders, carriers, and drivers.

Qualifications A combination of education and experience will be considered.

- Forklift experience is required.
- Previous material handling, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
- Commitment to safe equipment operation and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to accurately review and complete basic documentation.




- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities during the afternoon shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in conditions that may include daily exposure to outside weather.
