Duties
- Assemble mattress components using woodworking, machining, and assembly techniques to ensure durability and comfort
- Operate power tools, hand tools, CNC machines, and forklifts safely and efficiently during the manufacturing process
- Measure materials accurately with calipers and other measuring devices to maintain precise specifications
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials to support assembly lines and production flow
- Follow safety protocols consistently while working with machinery, tools, and heavy equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize assembly procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the production line
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or construction environments is highly desirable
- Proficiency with forklift operation, CNC machinery, power tools, hand tools, and machining processes
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, fabrication, or mechanical systems
- Warehouse experience including heavy lifting and material handling is a plus
- Familiarity with calipers or other precision measurement tools for quality control
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in industrial or manufacturing settings
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
