Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting and preparation. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality cuts of meat are prepared and presented for our customers while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Duties

- Perform meat cutting tasks, including but not limited to slicing, trimming, and deboning various types of meat.
- Ensure all meat products are prepared according to food safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation area, including proper sanitation practices.
- Assist customers with their meat selections, providing excellent customer service and answering any inquiries regarding products.
- Package meat products appropriately for display and sale, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate any shortages or needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen environment.





Qualifications

- Previous experience in the food industry, specifically in meat cutting or butchering is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in meat preparation.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform tasks that may require lifting heavy items.
- A passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
