Small Tool Mechanic

The Opportunity

Gegra Equipment Ltd. is looking for a motivated Small Tool Mechanic to join our team. The Mechanic works under the direction of the Service Manager and with other employees within the company to ensure rentals, sales, and repair contracts are completed efficiently and to company standards.

Job duties

These tasks include but are not limited to:

- Perform small equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operation of company forklift and overhead crane (training provided)
- Participation in training on (PPE) Basics, and any other training assigned by the employer.
- Be able to work in a team environment with other Mechanics, Labor, Sales staff, and Management.
- All other duties as requested by the Service Manager

Requirements:
- Mechanical background,



ability to work with tools, experience with small engine equipment and tools considered an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Valid Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Available to work Monday-Friday 8am-430pm, with opportunity for overtime.

- Hazardous materials: exposure to dust and exhaust - respiratory protection may be required for some tasks.
