We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced Metal Band Saw Operator to join our dedicated team on the day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm). This role will work out of our 87,000 sq. ft. facility located in Puslinch, ON.

Please note our facility is not accessible by bus.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Mainly operate a variety of industrial saw machines.
- Experience with Hydmech band saws is an asset.
- May operate other machine shop equipment as required.
- May operate material handling equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Overhead crane experience is an asset.
- Read blue prints to determine scope of work.
- Observe machine operations and periodically verify conformance of parts to specifications using tape measures.
- May need to periodically work outside in all weather conditions.
- General duties as required.
- Maintain a protected and clean work area as well as work as efficiently as possible.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance to legislation and Company policies. This includes working in required PPE (Steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses)

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3-5 years' hands on experience working with industrial equipment.



Previous saw experience considered a strong asset
- Must be able to accurately read blueprints
- Must be able to accurately use measuring tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Possess a positive attitude and work well in a team oriented environment
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, continually adapting to change and work under pressure
