We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Metal Shear Machine Operator to join our dedicated team on the day shift. This role will work out of our 87,000 sq. ft. facility located in Puslinch, ON. Please note our facility is not accessible by bus.

Primary Responsibilities

- Operate a metal shear machine
- May operate material handling equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts
- Read blue prints to determine scope of work
- Observe machine operations and verify dimensions of parts using tape measures.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area as well as work as efficiently as possible
- Work in a safe manner in accordance to legislation and Company policies. This includes working in required PPE (Steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses)

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years' hands on experience working with industrial equipment.
- Previous shear machine experience is considered a strong asset.
- Must be able to accurately read and interpret blueprints and use measuring tools.




- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Possess a positive attitude and work well in a team oriented environment
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, continually adapting to change and work under pressure
