Co-op student opportunity – Seeker Associate

Fall 2026 Work Term

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to join the Contemporary Sales Co-op team! Our internship offers a crash course in business operations, gained through hands-on experience working with our members, vendors, and other business partners.

Over the course of your four-month internship program, you will:

- Work with great people: Work directly with teams across all departments including Product, Pricing, Inventory Control, Sales & Marketing and Member Services in a fun, team-oriented and learning environment where every person's contributions are valued.
- Apply your learnings: Improve our member experience by working with your fellow interns and other team members on critical business projects. Work projects are carefully selected to allow interns the opportunity to learn about business operations, jump in with enthusiasm, and bring their ideas forward to make tangible impacts.

During your work term with us, you will:

- Develop your communication, project management, and analytical skills with training and hands-on opportunities to apply your learnings.
- Interact with peers and receive mentorship from tenured professionals and knowledge experts in the automotive after-market industry.
- Learn how to source and use data to produce and present reports to the senior Leadership Team.

- Our distribution centers are established in British Columbia, Manitoba, and in Alberta, all supported by our head office and main distribution center located in Barrie, Ontario.
- With over 130 employees, our team strives to continue to provide optimum service to meet the needs of our growing membership.

What you will do:

- Contact vendors regarding Seeker Data upon setup of new numbers.
- Review existing information to identify gaps and optimize findings.
- Obtain Seeker Data to fill gaps and improve current listings.
- Maintain file tracking for Seeker Data.
- Report on scorecard for completeness of Seeker Data.
- Run Seeker Error Report, track submissions, and resolve issues.
- Upload data/images, as required.

What you will need:

- You are enrolled in the Automotive Business Program, Business Marketing program or other business program in administration, research analyst, accounting, business technology management, math/statistics, or economics.
- You are enrolled in a college program and are required to complete a co-op work experience.




- You are willing to work in-person at the Barrie office location 5 days per week. We value in-person collaboration and believe working in-office is the best way to establish meaningful relationships, interact with our team and provide you with the best co-operative work experience.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including exemplary phone/email etiquette skills.
- You have excellent time management and organization skills.
- You have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- You have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, with special focus on Excel and Word. Experience with Google Sheets, VLOOKUP an asset.
- You have introductory experience, or the desire to learn, data tools and software.
- You have a positive and respectful attitude.

- You have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work in a collaborative manner with cross functional teams.
- You are self-reliant, independent; you are stable, adaptive, and able to handle a stressful situation with calm and reason.
- French language is an asset but not required.
