Outline Financial - Mortgage Broker/Agent (Ontario)

Overview:

An award-winning and highly-rated mortgage brokerage based in Ontario, Outline Financial is looking for an experienced Mortgage Agent or Mortgage Broker to join our team. This role is well suited to an established agent or broker looking to grow their business with stronger support behind them, or an experienced mortgage underwriter within the broker channel who is ready to move into a client-facing sales role.

Underwriting and administrative support. Our experienced in-house Underwriters and Administration team can take on much of the file work, including condition fulfillment, document collection, and closing coordination,



allowing you to spend more of your time on clients, value-added service and originations.

Turn-key systems. A fully built CRM, marketing tools, and established processes are ready for you on day one, so you are not building your own infrastructure from scratch.

A true team environment. Weekly team meetings, active intranet and chat groups, shared knowledge across the team, and vacation support so your clients and files are looked after when you take time away.

Responsibilities

- Originate residential mortgages by building and maintaining your client and referral network
- Guide clients through the full mortgage journey from application to funding, supported by our underwriting and administration teams
- Develop relationships with referral partners, including the option to work with existing leads and relationships
- Stay current with lender products, guidelines, and interest rates
- Participate in weekly team meetings, training, and mentorship programming

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of direct experience within the mortgage brokerage space, either as a licensed Mortgage Agent or Broker with an active book of business, or as a mortgage underwriter in the broker channel looking to transition into a sales and origination role




- Licensed as a Mortgage Agent or Broker in Ontario, or eligible and actively pursuing licensing
- Strong working knowledge of the broker channel, including lender products, submission platforms, and the end-to-end brokerage process
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who takes ownership of their pipeline and business
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience with Filogix, Finmo, Velocity, or similar platforms
- Knowledge or experience using a CRM platform is an asset
- Collaborative, coachable, and committed to skilled growth

Compensation:

- Compensation is commission-based with unlimited earning potential. For the right candidate, we offer flexibility in structure, which may include a guaranteed commission base plus upside, or a full commission structure with unlimited potential. Either way, you will be supported by the mentorship, systems, and team infrastructure described above.
