Mover – Moving Now

We are looking for an experienced Mover to join our growing moving company.

This is a full-time position for someone who is reliable, physically capable, professional, and experienced in residential and/or commercial moving. The successful candidate must understand how to safely handle, protect, load, transport, and unload customers' belongings.

Previous moving experience is REQUIRED. This is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities

- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household or commercial items
- Wrap, protect, and secure furniture and belongings to prevent damage
- Carry and move heavy and fragile items safely
- Properly load moving trucks to maximize space while protecting customers' belongings
- Unload and place items in the appropriate rooms or locations
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture when required
- Use moving equipment such as dollies, straps, moving blankets, and ramps properly
- Follow proper lifting and handling techniques
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers
- Follow instructions from the moving crew leader or supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and moving truck
- Report any damage, issues, or concerns to the supervisor immediately
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the moving process
- Follow company safety procedures and policies

Requirements




- Previous professional moving experience is REQUIRED
- Proven experience working as a mover or in the moving industry
- Experience handling and transporting furniture and household items
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Professional and respectful attitude toward customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely handle fragile, valuable, and heavy items
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures

Significant – Experience Is Required This is NOT an entry-level position.

Candidates without relevant moving experience will not be moved forward in the hiring process.
