Nanny / Home Child Care Provider

Langley, BC | $22.00 per hour | 40 hours per week | Full time, term/contract | On-site

We are a private household looking for a reliable nanny to provide full-time care for children in our home in Langley.

Duties

- Supervise and care for children
- Tend to children’s emotional well-being
- Maintain a safe and healthy home environment for the children
- Change diapers and assist with toilet training as directed by the parents
- Prepare bottles, formulas, and nutritious meals for the children
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Organize age-appropriate activities, games, and outings
- Perform light housekeeping related to the children (children’s laundry, bottles, meal prep, and tidying play areas)
- Shop for children’s food and related household supplies as needed
- Follow the parents’ routines and discipline methods

Hours Monday to Friday,



daytime / morning shift, 40 hours per week.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Willing to train
- English required
- Emergency child care first aid and CPR is an asset (or willing to obtain)
- Reliability, patience, good judgement, and strong communication skills

Other

- Work is in the employer’s home
- Public transportation is available
- This is not a live-in position
- Vacation pay and statutory holiday pay provided in accordance with BC Employment Standards

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents with a valid work permit are welcome to apply. Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
