Night Security Guard The Briars Resort

Jackson’s Point, Georgina, ON The Briars Resort is looking for a reliable, professional and responsible Full-Time Night Security Guard to help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our guests, staff and property during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular overnight patrols of the hotel, cottages, grounds and common areas
- Monitor entrances, exits and other key areas of the property
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns, noise complaints and security-related incidents
- Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards or maintenance concerns
- Assist guests with basic after-hours requests when required
- Follow established emergency procedures and contact management, police, fire or emergency services when appropriate
- Complete nightly security checks, incident reports and shift logs
- Work closely with Front Desk, Maintenance and management to ensure smooth overnight operations

Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently with minimal supervision




- Solid judgment and ability to remain calm in difficult or unexpected situations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable conducting indoor and outdoor patrols throughout the night
- Able to maintain accurate and clear incident reports
- Flexible availability, including overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
- Previous hotel, resort, security or customer service experience is preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
