: Under the direction of the Health Services Manager, the Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice [RN(AAP)] will be responsible for providing nursing services including the diagnoses and treatment of limited common medical disorders according to the Clinical Decision Tools (CDT) and in conjunction with their clinical knowledge and judgment; in compliance with the RN with Additional Authorized Practice (RN AAP) Practice Standards and with Saskatchewan Health Authority policies and procedures.
Experience in the utilization of electronic medical records is required.

Experience
- Two (2) years related experience
- One year experience working in an Emergency Room is required
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale certificate (CTAS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Demonstrates knowledge of the limited common medical disorders according to CDTs
- Ability to prescribe and dispense drugs as appropriate.
- Ability to order, perform and interpret reports and diagnostic tests.
- Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
- Ability to diagnose/treat common medical under RN AAP Practice Standards.
