About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Human Resources to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR function, developing and executing people strategies that align with business objectives, and fostering a high-performing, engaged, and inclusive workplace culture. This role involves serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, overseeing all core HR functions, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The Head of HR will also be involved in talent acquisition, particularly for intern/co-op and new graduate recruiting programs, and will be expected to manage and mentor the HR team.

Applicants for the Head of Human Resources position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration,



or a related field, with at least 5 years' of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 2 years' in a leadership capacity. A background in financial services, investment management, wealth management, or asset management is essential. The role requires a strong knowledge of talent management, employee relations, performance management, compensation, advantages, and organizational development, as well as in-depth knowledge of Ontario's Employment Standards Act and other relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, and the ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with hands-on execution in a dynamic environment. A CHRP or CHRL designation is a nice-to-have.
