We are hiring for a Casual Occupational Therapist for our Home Health team in Kelowna. This position requires a valid BC drivers license and access to a personal vehicle for work purposes.
Days of Work: Days as required. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the needs of the department.
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:30 to 16:30

About The Role The Occupational Therapist works independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, and may be providing a full range of occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy programs to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes.
- Provide consultation, education,
and support to clients and their caregivers.
- Prescribe and recommend appropriate equipment to enhance daily living.
- Participate in program planning, quality assurance initiatives, research, and departmental meetings.
- Offer guidance and work direction to rehabilitation assistants regarding transfer of function.
