Become a Geotechnical Field Technician with WSP in the Alberta oil sands. This role requires executing field programs and ensures safe, effective project delivery. WSP invites geotechnical professionals for a fly-in/fly-out role in Fort McMurray’s groundbreaking oil sands program.

During your two weeks on-site, you will manage critical geotechnical investigations, collaborating with a vast team of experts. This position contributes significantly to a multi-year project that shapes resource development in the region. Key Responsibilities:

- Advocate for safety protocols and practices
- Perform drilling, soil sampling, and monitoring tasks
- Organize and maintain field data logs
- Assist in laboratory testing for design input
- Work alongside cross-functional teams in office Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology preferred
- Experience in field-based geotechnical investigations
- Familiarity with industry-standard data software
- Strong organizational and independent work skills
