We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Onsite Wellness Nurse to join our agile healthcare staffing team. In this vital role, you will provide onsite wellness services at the employers locations. Duties
- Conduct health assessments and screenings for staff to monitor overall wellness and identify potential health issues early.
- Administer flu vaccinations following established protocols, ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures for blood draws, laboratory testing, and health screenings with precision and care.
- Manage medical records.
- Provide first aid and emergency response support as needed, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Educate staff on health topics including injury prevention, chronic disease management,
vaccination schedules, and wellness programs.
Skills
- Proven experience working in hospital or acute care settings with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Skilled in medication administration, venipuncture (phlebotomy), and laboratory procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems for efficient data entry and retrieval.
- Excellent communication skills tailored to working with children, seniors, and individuals with special needs such as dementia or mobility challenges.
