We combine deep local expertise with enterprise‑level resources to support grid reliability, system upgrades, predictive maintenance, and emergency response across Canada and the US.WHAT WE OFFER401K with 7% (US) / 5 % RRSP (CA) matching and immediate vesting100% employer paid benefitsPaid PTOCareer development and advancement opportunitiesTravel and relocation opportunities throughout the larger organizationWHAT WE NEEDWe're expanding our fabrication and technical solutions team and we're looking for anElectrical Assembly & Test Technician who takes pride in building high-quality electrical equipment that powers critical infrastructure.If you're an electrician, electrical technician, or someone with experience in panel building, industrial controls, automation, or electrical testing, this is an opportunity to work on custom-engineered solutions while growing your technical expertise alongside an experienced team.WHAT YOU WILL DOBuilding and wiring custom electrical equipment including distribution panels, control panels, power distribution units (PDUs), remote power panels (RPPs), and automation systems.Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.Installing and terminating power and control wiring, relays, PLC components, sensors, power supplies, and communication devices.Performing point-to-point verification, functional testing, and troubleshooting of completed assemblies.Supporting commissioning, startup, and occasional field service activities at customer sites.Working closely with engineering and fabrication teams to improve products and manufacturing processes.Completing quality inspections, testing documentation,
and production records.Maintaining a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment.WHAT YOU BRING309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician License (or registered apprentice)Electrical Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma orAutomation Technician diplomaExperience building and assembling electrical panelsWorking knowledge of industrial electrical systemsExperienced with control wiring, motor controls,PLCs and automation systemsStrong proficiency reading electrical schematics and blueprintsKnowledge of electrical troubleshooting and testing, including test operation equipmentExperience with any of the following is considered an asset:Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)Data centre power systemsCSA-certified equipment manufacturingPrimary injection testingCompensation will be commensurate with experience and may vary from the posted range based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, geographic location, and the final role offered.Compensation Range$29 - $50 CADBCES Global is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to inclusive, barrier‑free recruitment and selection processes.
