Shape the future of printmaking with Open Studio as the Executive Director in downtown Toronto. This role offers a unique chance to lead operational strategies and cultivate artist engagement in a vibrant community. You will drive initiatives for financial sustainability and operational excellence at Open Studio, Toronto's premier artist-run center.
As you manage a small team, your leadership will uplift artists while implementing policies promoting inclusion and diversity. Collaborating with the Board, you will help steer the organization’s strategic direction. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead staff and manage artistic programming
- Implement strategic initiatives and monitor goals
- Oversee financial reporting and budget management
- Build relationships with members and stakeholders
- Serve as a spokesperson for Open Studio Requirements:
- At least five years in a leadership role within the arts
- Strong knowledge of arts funding and financial practices
- Effective management and interpersonal skills
- Experience in strategic planning and governance
