Overview The Edmonton Soccer Dome is seeking a reliable, hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead evening and weekend operations. This role requires active leadership on the floor, managing staff, handling customers, and ensuring smooth facility operations during peak hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise evening and weekend operations across the facility
- Lead and manage staff on shift and maintain accountability
- Oversee bar operations including service, inventory, and cash handling
- Operate and troubleshoot POS systems
- Handle customer service issues professionally and efficiently
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and facility standards are maintained
- Coordinate bookings and field transitions
- Enforce facility policies and operational procedures
- Assist with opening/closing procedures and cash reconciliation
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance or operational issues
- Support events and overall facility flow
- Capture and provide photo/video content for the facility’s social media manager to support marketing and promotional efforts
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or operations experience preferred
- Experience in sports facilities, hospitality, recreation, or customer service environments is an asset
- Bar experience required (ProServe certification is an asset)
- Strong working knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
Schedule
- Full-time hours Primarily evenings and weekends
- Must be available during peak operating hours, including events and busy periods
- Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience with opportunity for growth within facility operations and management.
