Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optical Dispenser to join our dynamic optical practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and possess a strong understanding of optical products and services. Duties

- Assist patients in selecting eyewear that suits their prescription and lifestyle needs
- Measure and verify prescriptions accurately using optical equipment
- Educate patients on lens options, frame styles, and proper eyewear maintenance
- Frame repairs
- Process insurance claims and manage patient records efficiently using an electronic health record systems.
- Maintain inventory of optical products and ensure cleanliness of the dispensing area




- Collaborate with optometrists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest optical trends, products, and industry standards

Qualifications

- Prior experience in optical dispensing, retail sales, or laboratory work preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care is a plus
- Experience with optical EMR systems is desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and assist patients effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and improving patient satisfaction

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
