Trusted by blue-chip and junior clients across mining engineering, geological modelling, metallurgical/industrial engineering, risk management and related studies and project work, this client is launching their Canadian operation. They need the executive who will set the strategy, attract and sign clients, and build the firm's reputation across Canadian mining, backed by the resources of an established international firm.The RoleAsVice-President, Canada, you'll be our client's most senior executive in the country, with full accountability for strategy, business development, P&L, and technical delivery. You'll report to the firm's Executive, New Ventures during this build-out, transitioning to a direct line to the Group CEO — with a clear future development path to broader group leadership as the business scales.You will:Win new clients and build a pipeline across the Canadian mining landscape,
including any potential business in the Americas.Own the P&L for the Canadian operationStay technically hands‑on — this is an operating role, personally generating consulting revenue and providing oversight across disciplinesLead a hybrid team of Canadian consultants, subcontractors, and the firm's global technical benchRepresent the firm publicly and align closely with its Global BoardWhat You BringSignificant Canadian mining industry experience— essential.15+ years in mining, including seniorleadershipexperience.Aconsulting/advisorybackground is required, ideally including some prior owner's-side or operations experience.Provenbusiness developmenttrack record andP&L ownership.Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or related field.P.Eng. or P.Georegistration, or transparent eligibility.Capability toward Qualified/Competent Person status underNI 43-101.An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to travel regularly across Canada, plus occasional international travel.Where You'll Be BasedAnywhere in Canada — hybrid, with regular travel to client sites, mines and conferences.
