Reporting to the Manager of Health & Safety, you will be accountable for implementing robust safety programs and monitoring workplace conditions. This role involves collaborating with management to enhance safety measures and providing critical training to staff, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support on health & safety issues
• Monitor compliance and improve safety programs
• Analyze data for safety trends and reports
• Assist with claims management and reports
• Participate in health & safety initiatives and committees
Requirements:
• Certification in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years experience in a progressive H&S; role
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and practices
• Valid Advanced First Aid or EMT certification
• Proficient in document management and analytics
