Be a part of the Pacific Spirit Community Health Centre as a Mental Health Clinician for the Child & Youth team at Vancouver Coastal Health in Vancouver. Focus on assessment and treatment of youth with severe mental health disorders. As a clinician with a Master's degree, you will bring three years of related experience in mental health.
Your role will include assessing complex cases, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions. Collaborating with a diverse team, you will maintain quality care standards while supporting children and youth alongside their families. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed psychosocial assessments for clients
- Design and implement individualized care strategies
- Coordinate with other professionals for holistic treatment
- Lead family support sessions and psychoeducational groups
- Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and planning
Requirements:
- Master’s degree from a recognized program
- Three or more years working with children in mental health
- BC Driver’s License for necessary travel
- Expertise in mental health diagnosis and best practices
- Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities
