We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply primers, paints, stains, and sealants using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to follow project specifications accurately
- Assist with rigging and setup of scaffolding or ladders for safe access to work areas
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation, painting, caulking, and minor carpentry tasks
- Perform restoration work on existing surfaces to improve durability and appearance
- Maintain a clean work setting by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly,



and adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

- Previous construction experience with a focus on painting or finishing work is highly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans confidently
- Knowledge of residential, painting techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and scaffolding equipment
- Experience with rigging and working at heights safely is a plus
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards
