Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Labourer to join our dynamic team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction-related tasks, including painting, restoration, and general labour support.

Responsibilities

Being comfortable using ladders for exterior and interior painting is required

Assist with surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, and cleaning surfaces prior to painting or restoration projects

Apply paint, stain, or sealants using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment in accordance with project specifications

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment safely and effectively for various construction tasks

Support carpentry tasks such as framing, patching, or minor repairs as needed during projects

Perform caulking around trim, windows, doors, and other fixtures to ensure proper sealing and finish quality

Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly

Skills

Working with heights and ladders





Painting experience is highly preferred for this role

Knowledge of restoration techniques and industrial or commercial painting practices

Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for exact work execution

Experience with residential painting projects and understanding of construction painting standards

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and scaffolding setup

Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively

Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
