We are looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Parking Enforcement Ambassador & Customer Service Representative.
This is an active, field-based position that combines mobile parking enforcement, site inspections, customer service, parking operations, and facility support.
The successful candidate will spend the majority of their shift working in the field, patrolling assigned parking facilities and supporting customers while ensuring parking operations are safe, compliant, and operating effectively.
Schedule & Availability
This is a Part-Time position.
We are specifically looking for candidates with availability to work:
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Statutory holidays
- Special events and operational coverage as required
Typical shifts may include:
- 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. / 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (7days a week)
- 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. / 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (Weekends)
- Other evening or weekend shifts based on operational requirements
Schedules may vary based on vacation coverage, sick coverage, special events, staffing requirements, and business needs. Evening and weekend availability is a key requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities Parking Enforcement
- Conduct regular mobile patrols of assigned parking lots, parkades, and facilities.
- Enforce parking regulations in accordance with Precise ParkLink and client policies and procedures.
- Identify and document parking violations accurately.
- Issue parking notices in accordance with established enforcement procedures.
- Use mobile enforcement applications, handheld devices, and other technology to complete patrol and enforcement activities.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout assigned parking facilities.
- Monitor parking activity and identify recurring operational concerns.
- Conduct patrols at assigned locations according to established schedules and requirements.
- Report suspicious activity, hazards, vandalism, damage, and other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Complete required patrol logs, reports, and documentation accurately.
- Support enforcement during special events and periods of increased parking activity.
Parking Operations & Site Inspections
- Inspect parking equipment, pay stations, signage, gates, lighting, and other site infrastructure.
- Identify equipment malfunctions and report issues promptly.
- Assist with minor troubleshooting where trained and authorized.
- Identify snow, ice, debris, litter,
or other conditions that may impact the safety or operation of the parking facility.
- Report maintenance and safety concerns to the appropriate team.
- Assist with traffic flow and parking management when required.
- Support temporary signage, pylons, event equipment, and other operational requirements.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and well-presented parking environment.
- Complete site inspections and other operational checks as assigned.
Customer Service While enforcement is a primary responsibility, customer service is an important part of the position.
- Assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer questions regarding parking, payment, permits, rates, access, and parking locations.
- Assist customers with parking equipment and payment systems.
- Provide wayfinding assistance to patients, visitors, staff, and other parking patrons.
- Explain parking policies and procedures clearly and respectfully.
- Respond professionally to customer concerns and complaints.
- De-escalate challenging customer interactions and seek assistance when required.
- Escalate customer concerns or operational issues appropriately.
- Maintain a positive customer experience while enforcing parking requirements.
Vehicle & Equipment Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles while conducting mobile patrols.
- Complete vehicle inspections before and during assigned shifts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of company vehicles.
- Report vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, or maintenance requirements.
- Safely operate mobile enforcement equipment and other technology assigned to the position.
- Maintain and protect company equipment and report missing or damaged equipment immediately.

- A professional approach to parking enforcement and customer interactions.
Driver Requirements Because this is a mobile position, the successful candidate must have:
- A valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- A satisfactory 5-year driver's abstract.
- Must have maintained personal vehicle insurance for a minimum of 3 years, and be able to supply insurance history
Employment is conditional upon successful completion of applicable driver and background screening requirements.
Physical Demands
This is an active, field-based position.
The employee must be able to safely:
- Frequently walk and stand for extended periods.
- Frequently enter and exit vehicles.
- Navigate parking lots, parkades, stairs, curbs, uneven surfaces, and pedestrian areas.
- Bend, twist, crouch, kneel, reach, and work in various positions while conducting inspections and enforcement activities.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) unassisted.
- Use appropriate mechanical equipment or approved team-lift procedures for heavier or awkward loads.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements while using mobile enforcement devices, parking equipment, and vehicle controls.
- Work outdoors for extended periods in cold, heat, rain, snow, wind, and other changing weather conditions.
- Maintain sufficient mobility, balance, coordination, and situational awareness to work safely around vehicles and pedestrians.
