WonderWorks Learning Club is looking for a creative, organized, and reliable Part-Time Bilingual Marketing Coordinator to support our social media marketing and coordinate with our external RED (Xiaohongshu/小红书) marketing team.

This role combines content coordination, social media creation, on-site filming, file organization, and communication with an external marketing agency. The ideal candidate understands Chinese and Western social media audiences and can help keep our content consistent, authentic, and well organized across platforms.

Position Details

- Position: Part-Time Bilingual Marketing Coordinator
- Location: WonderWorks Learning Club, Vancouver, BC
- Work arrangement: Combination of on-site and remote work
- Hours: Minimum 9 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible, but the candidate must be available to visit the centre regularly for filming and content collection
- Compensation: $22-25 per hour, depending on experience
- Start date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:RED/Xiaohongshu Team Coordination
- Act as the main point of contact between WonderWorks and our external RED marketing team
- Communicate clearly with the RED team in Chinese regarding upcoming programs, promotions, priorities, and content needs
- Provide the RED team with accurate program information, photos, videos, student work, and other marketing materials
- Review proposed RED content to ensure information is accurate and aligned with the WonderWorks brand
- Communicate revisions, feedback, and deadlines to the RED team
- Follow up on content progress and ensure posts are prepared and published according to schedule
- Help the RED team understand the goals, benefits, and positioning of each WonderWorks program

Content Collection and File Organization
- Visit the WonderWorks centre to take photos and film short videos of classes, camps, student activities, teachers, and special events
- Collect authentic content that shows the student experience, learning environment, and program outcomes
- Organize raw photos, videos, completed designs, captions, and other marketing materials in Google Drive
- Maintain transparent and consistent folder names, file names, and content categories
- Keep track of completed, scheduled, and available content




- Ensure the RED team and internal staff can easily locate the materials they need
- Obtain internal approval before sharing or publishing sensitive student-related content

Instagram Content Creation
- Plan and create Instagram content separately from the content produced by the RED team
- Develop Reels, carousel posts, Stories, student features, program promotions, and behind-the-scenes content
- Film and edit short-form videos suitable for Instagram
- Write clear, engaging English captions that reflect the WonderWorks brand
- Adapt content for Instagram audiences rather than directly copying RED content
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and visual style
- Support Facebook content when needed
- Monitor basic performance data and identify which types of content receive the strongest engagement

Marketing Support
- Help develop weekly and monthly content calendars
- Promote camps, after-school programs, seasonal classes, special events, and registration periods
- Coordinate with teachers and staff to identify upcoming activities that would be valuable to film
- Ensure all published information—including dates, times, locations, pricing, and program details—is accurate
- Support posters, promotional messages, and other marketing projects when needed
- Keep marketing projects organized and follow up on outstanding tasks

Required Qualifications
- Fluent or highly proficient in both Mandarin Chinese and English
- Strong written communication skills in Chinese and English
- Familiarity with RED/Xiaohongshu and Instagram
- Comfortable communicating with an external Chinese marketing team
- Able to film clear, engaging short-form videos using a smartphone or camera
- Basic video-editing and graphic-design skills
- Experience using tools such as Canva, Instagram, Google Drive, or similar platforms
- Strong organization and file-management skills




- Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and follow up consistently
- Comfortable working around children, families, and teachers
- Able to travel to the WonderWorks location for regular on-site content collection
- Careful with details and able to verify information before publication

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, or marketing coordination
- Experience managing or coordinating a RED/Xiaohongshu account
- Experience creating Instagram Reels and carousel posts
- Photography or videography experience
- Familiarity with education, enrichment programs, camps, or family-focused businesses
- Understanding of both Chinese-speaking and English-speaking parent audiences
- Experience reviewing social media analytics and using performance data to improve content

- Marketing posts accurately represent WonderWorks programs and communicate their value to families
