Canada Alpha Packing Inc. is a Richmond-based supplier of packaging and moving materials. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time B2B Sales & Market Research Assistant to help us develop business customers in Metro Vancouver.

The successful candidate will research potential customers, collect and organize business information, contact prospective customers, follow up on sales opportunities, and monitor competitors and market prices.

Responsibilities

- Research and identify potential B2B customers in Metro Vancouver, including cabinet shops, furniture manufacturers, moving and storage companies, warehouses, distributors and other local businesses
- Find company websites, telephone numbers, email addresses and appropriate contact persons
- Contact prospective customers by email and telephone
- Introduce our products and arrange samples, quotations or sales appointments
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers
- Research competitors, product specifications and market prices
- Organize customer information and sales leads using Excel, Google Sheets or a CRM system
- Prepare short, clear market-research and competitor-analysis reports
- Assist with online customer inquiries and other sales-related administrative tasks

Requirements
- Good written and spoken English




- Strong internet research and information-gathering skills
- Comfortable communicating with businesses by email and telephone
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Organized, dependable and attentive to detail
- Able to work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Previous experience in sales, lead generation, market research, customer service or office administration is preferred
- Mandarin or another additional language is an asset, but not required
- Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing, cabinet shops, moving supplies or construction-related businesses is an asset
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Work Details
- Part-time, permanent position
- Approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Flexible schedule
- Some work must be completed at our Richmond location; limited remote work may be available after training
