Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team at Senate Tavern. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and working collaboratively with the rest of the culinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet Senate Tavern's high standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations
- Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Work efficiently during busy periods and maintain composure under pressure
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Culinary degree is an asset
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Excellent communication skills
