Job Details: Aurora Academic Charter Primary School is looking for a part-time Grade 4 teacher to job-share with another teacher. It is a Probationary position, which will be evaluated at the end of the year to become continuous.

Experience with elementary or early childhood education is a requirement.

Experience and a high comfort level in Google apps for schools required. Part-time for 2026-2027 but the succesful applicant will also be able to substitute at the school. The school will be expanding the following year, and full time positions may be available.

School enrollment is currently 850 students and class sizes range from 20 to 24. Required General Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Education Degree specializing in Elementary Education
- Knowledge of a student-centered highly structured direct instruction model
- The ability to use technology (especially the Google apps and platform) as a tool to enhance learning
- Must be living in the Edmonton area in order to be contacted and interviewed
- A clear Alberta Teacher Registry

- Short cover letter
- Resume with references information
- Most recent evaluation (principal, mentor teacher in the AFX, supervisor, etc.)
- Valid Alberta Interim or Professional Teaching Certificate
- Current Police Check and Vulnerable Sector Check (current within the past 6 months) from a Canadian police service. You will not be contacted for an interview unless you have one that is current or in the process of getting one.
