What You'll Do
- Learn the Yanshee platform, its capabilities, sensors, servos, Blockly programming environment, and educational tools
- Review and adapt existing manufacturer educational material
- Design an engaging 8-week introductory humanoid robotics program for students approximately 10–13 years old
- Create hands-on activities, challenges, games, competitions, and projects for each class
- Lead our first classes with groups of approximately 12 students working in teams of two per robot
Ideal Qualifications
- 1Experience working with children or teenagers
- 2Strong communication and presentation skills
- 3Interest or experience in robotics, engineering, programming, AI, or STEM education
- 4English required; bilingual English/French is a solid asset
- 5Available for some evenings and/or weekends in downtown Montreal, where classes are held.
